A little over a year ago I purchased a Xbox 360 elite from best buy and bought the extended warranty. Since then i have moved and somewhere between my hometown and my new residence I have misplaced my receipt and now my disc drive is isn't working anymore. I need to know if there is some way that yall can search my my barcode or upc or whatever yall need. I juast want to play games again!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

The store should be able to find your XBox BTP plan # fairly easily. I can usually find them using phone number or name when I'm in the store.

thank you. I was also told they they will not give a new one but a refurbished one? Really? I feel cheated almost if that's true because I spent so much money at that time to prevent having to spend another $500 on another Xbox 360 Elite. Is there anyway to have someone check that online because I have no way of making a phone call.

A community connector can look up your BTP plan information but it will take them typically 3-5 business days to pop in here and help out. The phone call is a much faster route to go.
Yes the console you get will be refurbished but should operate as if it was new. The good news is your BTP plan also would continue on. If you do have a stroke of bad luck when you need your 4th repair/rapid exchange the store can supply you with a new unit and deem the prior ones a lemon under your plans no lemon clause.
