Today at Best Buy I was getting the iPhone 4 and they keep talking to me about Black Tie! I told them I didnt want it! They said it was free for a month and all I had to do was call and cancel it! Well, looking at the bill they charged me almost $15 for both phones for the Black Tie!!! ! Who do i complain to? The store or is there somone to email or contact ASAP!!!!!!

Why'd you pay?
Just go back to the store and return it. If you have a complaint, you can report it to the GM, but it's all hearsay.

They added it to the total, and I didnt check it until I looked back at the recipient. Yea, I know, they should add all the can and hope I see it right? I mean they made me run my card about 3 times before a total even came up. Something about the upgrading I think. They had lots of people, rushing ever one. They just said "your price for the phones, fees after the gift cards is on the pan, swap your card now and I need to last four numbers on the card"
I thought fee most have been "activation" or upgrading. Again, I know they should add all the can and hope I catch it right?

If they indeed added it without your consent, that was wrong. However, if you had it on both phones, you had to sign not once, but twice, stating that you agreed to pay for the BTP plan. Plus, you also had to confirm that you had received the little plan booklet. Whether they were rushing or not is irrelevant. If you sign things without reading them, you're going to end up in troubling situations.

I only signed two times and they SAID it was for the phones. I got two phones. I never got a booklet? I black sheet about it but I got it when they took my name at 7:30. Told me read over it, and think about for when I came back at 10.

One more thing, I only signed the date pad screen on the credit card reader. Is that what I would also sign if I did WANT black tie? I am just trying to get my info straight if I complain. I may just keep it for a month but if I really didnt even SIGN for it, I am not going it at all

You swipe your card, then sign to acknowledge that you agree to be charged monthly. You had to do this twice.

Hello WhiskeyGold,
Like Nokia mentioned, Best Buy® requires a signature at the time of sale to authorize any monthly service plan charges. Still, I can imagine how surprised you must have felt to discover that you were being charged for Geek Squad® Black Tie Protection. Under no circumstances should our customers ever feel obligated to purchase a service plan, nor do we condone employees adding coverage without the customer’s knowledge or consent. Rest assured that both store management and the appropriate business teams in our corporate offices will be made aware of the situation.
If you would like to cancel your GSBTP coverage there are two different ways you can go about doing so. The first would be to stop by the customer service desk at your local store with a copy of your original receipt. The second method would be to contact our Mobile GSBTP support department at 1-866-548-0885. Either way an associate should be able to guide you through the cancellation process.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

thanks for the reply. I checked all the paper's I have and can not find any about Black Tie that I signed. Only two AT&T/iPhone wireless plans. I will contact the 800 number ASAP

You didn't sign any paper document. The signature was done electronically on the PIN pad next to the register.
I believe within the first 30 days, the plan must be cancelled at the store, but I could be wrong.
