I purchased a white 2.4 gHz macbook on April 4, 2008. I METICULOUSLY TAKE CARE OF MY ELECTRONICS and THUS DON'T ABUSE THEM Unfortunately, a hair line crack augmented in size. The 2.4 gHz white Macbook is no longer sold by Bestbuy or Apple. I need an exchange right away.
I use my laptop everyday for rigorous/tedious assignments. Aside from that, my white macbook makes plenty of flickering noises and overheats. I have a 2 year insurance with bestbuy's geeksquad. I am wondering if I can make an immediate exchange for a 15.4" Macbook Pro. It's price is less than the amount of money I've spent on my macbook and insurance policy. This product has a manufacture defect and should thus be exchanged. I can't work with a computer that scathes me back with it's protruding plastic.

Hi there and welcome to the Community! Before the unit is exchanged, our service center must attempt to repair it. If it is unrepairable, the unit will be exchanged. If repairable, it will be repaired and sent back to you. Keep in mind that the Geek Squad Black Tie Protection is a service plan and not a replacement plan.
