I bought one of your Insignia CNV10/CNV20 Gps 2or 3 weeks ago

it said to get my 3 years free mapp update i had to go to the geek bench bestbuy .

I went to 2 and they did not know anything about it and there was no update cd

what can i do about this please let me know what i can do to get my free map updates

You said you just bought it three weeks ago. Map updates are only released at most once a year. There wouldn't be any update for your device yet.

Are you sure it said 3 years on Insignia's website it says 1 year.  It does say go to a Geek Squad bench for it though. Regardless you still get free updates if there are any available.

I’m apologize for the confusion surrounding the free GPS updates that come with your Insignia™ GPS navigator.  I’ll do my best to clarify the situation for you.

Your purchase of this navigator comes with one year of free map updates which are available up to four times per year.  As updates become available, a notice will be sent to your GPS device.  Updates are available at the Geek Squad® bench of your local store.  After the year is up, continued updates are available for an additional annual fee.

Our Car Audio Install Geeks handle all the GPS updates.....Most of us at the precint don't deal with GPS unless its being sent out for repair.
