The thing that everyone I talk to doesn't take into consideration is that 4 Best Buy employees have already confirmed that there was no comparable sku. It is apparant that there wasn't one and that's why they gave me the t.v. with no similar specs!
All LED t.v.s are not the same. There are four different types and mine was the kind that had a full array of LEDs behind the screen rather than just on the edges or whatever other configurations they had.
A comparable product means a comparable product. Not the cheapest product with the most specs in common! If they are telling me that the similar technology from LG is worth more now then it means I bought a good product! It was the best when I bought it and they NOT giving me something comparable! They arleady told me that nothing was comparable!!

Then why did 4 employees tell me that there wasn't a comparable one because the most comparable one was $4000? Did they not OBVIOUSLY have nothing that came close to what I had, and thats why they decided to credit me for the t.v..
CAN IT BE ANYMORE CLEAR THAT I WAS CHEATED!!!!
55" LG BACkLIT-LED 240Hz
vs
60" Panasonic PLASMA 600Hz
Is it not clear that they were not going by comparable specs, rather than by a price that they saw fit?

The MOST comparable t.v. to my 55" LG Backlit LED 240Hz t.v. would have been a 55" LG Backlit LED 240Hz t.v.. LG is not out of business, the technology that was in my t.v. is still being used, and the Best Buy store I went to did in fact carry t.v.s that were more comparable to my t.v.
The most comparable sku IS NOT the panasonic or that toshiba. Several different people have comfirmed that the most comparable t.v. is one that is more expensive that what I paid for. Period. Not a cheaper $1236 one.
