Im pretty sure the system came up with no comparable sku on my tv. because thats what the very first guy said. Thats why I think instead of giving me my $2000 beause there was no comparable sku, they tried to tell me that I was getting the value of a 60" plasma with 600Hz in stead of 240Hz to make me believe it was better and I was getting a good deal and in that manner try to get away with giving me 1400 when I should have been getting 2000. Thats what makes the most sense to me. That would make sense why not one spec that "the system" was comparable to mine.

You guys are very good at telling me why I am wrong.
But can someone please attempt to explain to me why everybody I talked to at somepoint said that there was either no comparable sku, or that the most comparable sku was more expensive then mine so thats why they wernt giving that to me? Can someone please explain that?

From what Crystal is saying, it sounds like there is a computer that generates the most comparable sku, and that it is not arbitrarily decided by which ever manager is on shift that day. If this is the case, then can't I just go to another best buy and ask them to run my sku to tell me what is the most comparable model, I mean without telling them my story or anything, just as a curious customer. And if they tell me, again, that there is no comparable sku, will you people believe my case then?

Actually, it's not just Crystal who said it was a machine. The manager, who said he held the highest position under the general manager at the store that day specifically said that it was a machine that came up with the most comparable sku, and that imputing anything different would be illegal.
It seems like all you need is a Best Buy computer that generates the sku, so all that needs to be done is for it to be ran again to see if I was lied to or not, correct?
So pretty much if the Community Connectors can't help me, I will just go to another Best Buy , tell them that my t.v. looks like its old and about to break and that im curious what kind of replacement I would get if it did break. I would totally get all the information staight, and if they tell me there is no comparable sku, and that if my t.v. broke I should be getting credit for what it's worth. I would ask why I was cheated at the other store and go from there.

It generally takes 3 - 5 business days for someone from the community to get in touch with you.

Do managers really lack the authority to override the computer program?
