Hi-in 2006 I purchased a viper remote start for my car and there is a lifetime warranty on this alarm/remote.
The alarm is not working and in order for Best Buy to take a look at it and have it covered under the warranty, they are asking for a receipt from the best buy where the alarm was put in? It has been 6 years and I'm not sure I can find it.
What can I do? Thanks for any information!

If you a) Paid with plastic, b) Bought a protection plan, or c) linked it to a reward zone account, they should be able to look up the receipt and get you a copy. You can wait here for a Community Connector, call Best Buy's toll-free #, or go into the store.
If you paid with cash, and remember which register/time/date it was purchased, they MAY be able to look it up in the store.

Hello edarbuckle,
I'd be happy to help out in trying to locate your receipt for the Viper purchase in 2006. I tried to do an initial search based on the email associated with your information here, but nothing came up.
Can you please send me a private message with your personal information including full name, address, phone and any other email address we might have on file. Let's start with that and see if I can locate it for you.
