Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

I bought my PS3 on June 12, 2008 and bought what I was told was a PRP.  Now the system is having Bluetooth connection issues.  I have heard reports that some PS3's are actually covered by PSPs.  Is there anyway to tell from my receipt what I have?

If your unit was purchased before 9/14 of last year, you should be covered under a PRP plan.
