PSP is just for the service or repair once the product gets damaged or broken, if it can't be repaired then you'd have to buy another one. PRP is for the replacement, once your product gets damaged you can easily get it replaced without the hassle of waiting for weeks for the repair to finish.

I totally understand how frustrating BBY and their policies/customer service can be. I actually replied to this original topic and I don't see it, maybe they've deleted it. Anyway, I received a portable Insignia DVD player as a gift a few years ago, now need a new player-to-monitor cable. They keep telling me that it'll be sent in another, then anther, 4 weeks or so. I found out more info about this, mentioned it on this message board, then Justin from BBY community said he'd help me. After I gave him ALL the pertinene information, he proceeded to give me the phone number I'd already stated had kept me on hold for dozens of hours, and said that if I didn't hear from the same guy who was supposed to call me, then he'd get in touch with him...well, he hadn't then, and of course he hasn't now either! By the way, this ficticious person's name is Paul ROJAS, some say Pablo ROJAS, but either way, I think that when they say that this guy is going to call you, you might just as well throw your BBY-bought product away. Here's evidence that what I'm saying is true: Justin now has told me that they're (he swears that it's Insignia, as if there's no connection between them) probably just not going to ship the part, so I may as well just CANCEL MY ORDER! Seriously, they've been stringing me along for MONTHS just to finally tell me that I should just give it up. Take my advice: DON'T BUY BBY if you don't want headaches. ALL I WANT is a 10-dollar replacement cable (well, in my order I've actually requested--gasp--two! That's it! BBY WON'T SEND ME REPLACEMENT CABLES I'M WILLING TO PAY FOR! ISSUE NOT RESOLVED! BBY DOES NOT CARE. Oh, wait, they'll blame Insignia, so they're not to blame anymore. So, what's a supervisor's name I can speak with? They won't give me to anyone else!

Yeah and the responses that you get from BBY from this forum are canned responses LOL! Nobody really even cares. Look at page 1 the community guy from BBY sent a pm to the threadstarter without even knowing what the issue is. LMAO!
