I had an accident with my laptop and have the warranty with accidental, so I wasn't worried when I brought it in. It bugged me a bit that I had to wait a month and a half to get it back, but hey, I got it back. New screen, DVD drive, hard drive, and palm rest.
Brought it home to start installing my OS and everything and found that no matter what OS I tried to install, I couldn't do it. Not that I didn't know how, but it just would not install. So I brought it back and had to wait another week so they could pop a disk in a replace a bad RAM module.
Then I finally proceeded to install my OS, programs, applications, updates: the works. Then I start to play a game, notice the sound is distorted... I have a blown speaker. I also noticed that I have a bad LAN port...
I've been waiting two weeks already and they have finally just ordered the parts which took two weeks last time I just waited for parts. How long do I have to wait to get my laptop back so I can examine it myself to see if it is in fact okay or not? I'm extremely irritated and frustrated that it takes so long to just fix it right when it could have been done right the first time and was not.

Hi Anemiae,
I agree that all three repairs being done during the first repair would have been the ideal resolution to this, and I’m sure being without your laptop for two months and it coming back unrepaired each time would be extremely frustrating. I am sending you a private message, and to check your messages log into the forum and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Thanks for posting,
Allan
