Re: Getting all My Money back from warranties

That explains everything, Best Buy does NOT want customers that buy all of their electonics and appliances at Best Buy, WOW maybe that is why the stocks are falling and Best Buy is one of the most hated companies. I have worked for companies that wanted every customer that walked in the door-That business is very profitable. I have worked for companies that felt the same as you that the company did NOT want every customer, they are no longer operating. Strange that you feel that way when your superiors have thrown money at me to get me back, as well as written apologies from store manager and Regional. Maybe I should pass this on to those managers so that they can see that even though you post your OWN opinions, it still reflects badly on the company.

I don't know what you mean by stocks are falling because last time I looked, Best Buy's stock price slipped $1 down to $21 after the resignation of their CEO and then has since rose back up to its $22 level. The only time BBY's stock has dropped dramatically was 3.5 years ago at the start of the economic downturn. Why? Because Best Buy sells want-based commodities, not need-based. Lol most hated company... Only according to the Consumerist, but even then, Best Buy was never voted most hated company. They were, however, voted to the list of most ethical companies in the world.

Quite simply, no. I understand your need to strengthen your stance with unverifiable and deluded claims, but these statements are laughable at best. I teach at a university. Using your divine logic there, it would be the same as saying that my university would be better off if we accepted all applicants. As with ALL businesses and institutions, there are factors/customers/applicants that would help your goal and hurt it. Obviously you want the ones that help it.

Yea, I've gotten those verbatim letters too. I've also got letters from the President of the United States and UN Secretary General thanking me for my contributions to world peace. :smileyvery-happy:

You should. At least it would buy you back some of the credibility that you lost as soon as you posted this thread. You should put your money where your mouth is. Just know that every John, Mary, and Bob that has ever posted the same whimsical claim you just did never did. So please do. I need this thread to get more entertaining.

So take this now from a non-Best Buy employee and just someone who just had an email address and an internet connection to register on these forums, "There are customers that businesses do not want."

How are you taking any list that put Facebook as number 1 seriously?

See... It's not real HATE though... It's that.. bandwagon-style hate... the kind where you complain, but do nothing about it. Like a lot of the "I'll never shop at Best Buy again" people.. few mean it, most don't.

Re: Getting all My Money back from warranties

I appreciate your apolgy! I too am sorry that my last 4 times in Best Buy have failed miserably. I really loved and trusted Best Buy for all my purchases of Electronics, appliances and even the DVD's & Cd's and I really hope that this failing company can make the required changes to become the the Best Buy that I always used to be loyal to. I can say that the Super Users and the employees that are allowed to belittle the customers with problems are not working in the Best Intrest of Best Buy, I understand that they come here on their own time and voice their own opinions but I hate to say that it does reflect poorly on Best Buy because Best Buy Moderators allow this. I was told by an employee on this blog "That there are customers that business don't want" Clearly pointed at me. That is all good because I have a 6 figure income and no debt, and have never returned a single item to Best Buy but I will not spend my disposable income at Best Buy due to those condesending comments. If i ever heard that an employee of mine ever talked that way about a client, on the job or off (on their own time, and their own opinion) I would fire them on the spot because it DOES REFLECT POORLY ON MY BUSINESS!

How is this relevant in any way? Or is this the proverbial, "Haha I'm going to make random unverifiable claims on a public internet forum because I don't have to prove it. You'll live to regret this!" statement?

Honestly, during my time with Best Buy, I dealt with complaint emails and letters on a weekly basis for my store(s). The ones I went out of my way to make the customer/client happy were the ones that showed common courtesy and humility. The ones that made the "I spend a million dollars at your store" or "I know people" and "I have worked 2 lifetimes as a CEO of X company" comments received a quick smirk and a copy/paste of the verbatim message. Whether a customer spends $1 or $10000, all customers deserve to receive an equal level of customer service. Then again, if a customer comes at you with guns a blazing...

Your post is titled "Getting all My Money back from warranties." It doesn't specify a problem you had, just a comment on an action you were going to perform (or have already performed). What kind of replies did you expect? Oh hey that's great high five? Pick me up and we'll go return them together? You stated an opinion and you got replies. Welcome to the internet.
