With all this negative publicity with Best Buy and the stocks keep dropping like its hot, I'm getting all my prorated money back from the awful Black Tie Protection plans and spending the gift cards I have left. I don't have much faith in this Company being here for the long haul-Not saying its closing tomorrow but it is not looking good!

Yep, after my own experience with GS and plenty of people I have talked to, if anything breaks I can afford to buy new without BB headaches-Amazon Loves me ever since BB burned me.

I have had horrible experiences with Best Buy all the way around. Laptop broke and .... nope warranty doesn't cover anything. Got new TV, got it home and it was USED! Best Buy sold it even though it had finger prints all over and did not work. They resold a broken TV.

Geek squad did not fix my laptop when they had it for a week! They didn't even touch it and told me to come back beause it was fixed. I tried to use it there to show them, they had not even tried to fix it. It was then fixed while I waited! Customer Service is horrible there.

deuse, spoken like a true GS employee, nobody expects anything more from you. That is why the stocks are tumbling and less and less customers come through the door at BB.

You shouldn't have bought the warranties in the first place.
Ask BBY if they could survive without selling warranties. That will prove to you how much money is made on these.

APR-I sooo knew better and you are right, I fell into the trap, my bad- but i have learned. I used to think that BB was pretty reputable. I have seen the decline in the past few years here. These forums definatley do not help BB but I have learned alot here. Even after I had problems with the protection plan, and I finally got Management, and Regional Managements ear and return phone calls from them I still got a different story from each one of them-Regional said not covered, Local said it was and T & C's say it is Not covered. I'm not willing to take a chance with them when no one came come up with the same answer!

There are customers that businesses do not want.
