Hi!
Could you please clarify what services do you provide under a Premium Service Protection Plan in relation to an Initial Calibration?
What exactly does the technician do?
What does a Full Calibration include, and how does it differ from the initial calibration included in the PSPP?
Is it correct that if you purchase a calibration for $299 at the same time as the PSPP you are allowed subsequent Full Calibrations once every year during the service contract life?
Thanks!

Hi capb,
The calibration that is included with the Premium Geek Squad Black Tie Protection (PGSBTP) plan is the same calibration service that a customer can purchase separately from the Geek Squad® for $299.99.
This calibration is performed by an ISF certified Geek Squad® agent, and with this service the agent will do the following:
1. Calibrate your TV to ISF standards for top video performance and create dedicated settings for two different inputs
2. Adjust the surround sound levels of the A/V receiver to ensure all the effect speakers are working optimally
3. Review and check the speaker system; verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working
4. Review and recommend any remote control features or capabilities that might be helpful to you now or in the future
5. Ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed, using wire ties as needed
6. Clean up work area and remove installation debris
It is not correct that you get free calibration service each year of the service contract, but you would get free calibrations after each repair. To learn even more about this service, watch videos about Geek Squad® home theater services, and to read customer’s reviews on the calibration service you can find that information here. I hope this helps!
Thanks for posting,
