I purchased an Xbox 360 Game Console almost two years ago, along with a two year warranty. I replaced my first Xbox 360 with another one from the same store I purchased it from around four months later. I than returned 2+ times to return it due to issues with the console which were confirmed by the staff working there, which is normal procedure.
The warranty is ending 4/09, which is drawing near and we are having yet another problem with the console, it won't read any discs, simple. We take the long drive there and we are, of course, dealing with different members of staff, they are now telling me that the warranty voids when exchanged the first time, well, obviously this wasn't the case many of times before. We paye $80 for the warranty and $400 for the Xbox 360, the Xbox 360 is now $200 less and they are giving us a run around about exchanging it!
We are more than happy to purchase another warranty when this one does end, but as for now we would appreciate using our current warranty. If this is to continue with others or if my Xbox 360 is not exchanged, than the least I can say for this local Best Buy is, if I can do anything, it will be to lower your income by showing how much of a hassle it is, how much of a rip off it is, and how it takes to go to these measures to just get decent, american costumer service! I will also talk with the local media to cover this story and save the community their money by shopping else where.
Administrators or personnel able to speak on this subject, you have my e-mail address stored, I highly doubt returning to this website or any Best Buy if this is not resolved.
Take this into consideration before buying here or anywhere people, they may try to scam you, may not be on the behalf of Best Buy, but the employees themselves!
