I bought a whirpool front loading washer from Best Buy which is a total piece of junk. It has never worked more than a few months without failing. The first time it broke Best Buy had to replace it cause the parts it needed were on back order. That was one month without a washer. Then the new washer busts a leak in a drain. Two weeks to get tech out then week and a half to come back and install new part. More time without a washer. Then the rubber seal rips on the washer and had to be replaced. More time without a washer. Then something happened with the rubber seal that was causing my clothes to get caught and get ripped up. Once again seal had to be replaced. More time without a washer. At this point I was told if I have anymore problems they would replace it. Tonight I get home from work and put a load in. I hear a noise coming fromt the washer. The rubber seal came loose and winded up with the clothes ripping it off and damaging it. Just great. More problems with the rubber seal. I guess they have been treating the symptom replacing the seal instead of seeing what is causing the damage.
So I call up geek squad and guess what. TWO weeks to get a technician out to look at it to verify what is wrong. This washer is obviously a lemon. I'm tired of this expensive washer failing. Then it takes forever to get a tech out on this expensive service plan I bought. I just want to replace it. I dont even want the same washer anymore as it is junk. I would even pay a litle more for a different one even though I know that will end the warranty on which I have more than a year left. This model is junk!
Does anyone know who I can contact at best buy to speed this up. All I need is for someone to swing buy and look at it. I can even send a picture to them if it would help.

Hi mikewsteph and welcome to the forum.
It certainly sounds like your washer should be put out of its misery. I do the never-ending laundry in our household, so I can imagine the mountainous build up if our washer had that much down time.
Fyi, a response from a Best Buy Community Connector can take 3 to 5 business days. It seems they've been a bit quicker than that recently, but just wanted to make you aware that this forum isn't for immediate responses. Hope they can help you out.
Good luck.

Hi mikewsteph,
After reading your post, and looking at the previous three work orders, I can certainly see why you would be upset that you are now being asked to wait until 4/30/2012 to have this washer looked at by our technician.
I have emailed the manager of your technician to see if there is anything that can be done to expedite this for you, and once I hear back from him I will post back to this thread.
Thanks for posting,

Hi mikewsteph,
I did hear back on this from your technician's supervisor stating they have called you, and have sent you an email on this. They should be doing what they can to expedite this process for you, and I would encourage you to contact this supervisor as soon as possible.
Thanks,
