Hi everyone,

I bought my Storm back mid november and I did buy the Best Buy insurence. My phone is starting to act very very slow, everytime I try to do something from the phone being locked, or in a hibernation state its almost unuseable. My Best Buy insurence would be able to do something about this wouldn't they? I can't even answer phone calls because the phone is sat "loading". Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Sure. Just go to your local BB Mobile department and tell them your issue. Repair time is generally four weeks, but can be longer or shorter. If it takes longer than four weeks, contact the store about your status, as our repair company often fails to notify us if they approve the customer for an in-store exchange.

MobileExpert has the right advice:  you should visit your local store’s Mobile department.  They may be able to offer an on-site solution!  If not, you have your Geek Squad Black Tie Protection under which service will be provided.  While we do our best to make sure that repairs are completed as promptly as possible, we understand your need to keep in touch.  You may be eligible for a loaner phone for a reasonable deposit, so be sure to ask about that!

Yes, a loaner phone is avaliable for a deposit of $150. However, it will not be a Storm, but a basic phone. Our store has the Samsung Glyde as our VZW loaner.
