I purchased a Nintendo ds for my daughters birthday i also got the Product Replacement Plan . Now that i need replairs on the DS it turns out that i cant use it. Bestbuy has no proof that i purchased the DS from there stores. So i said to the salesman so Bestbuy sold me P.R.P. and i cant use it. He tells me hew can not help me . So i have a manager called. Manager comes tells me she cant help me i have to call 8882378289 called them they told me the same thing. The could not find reciept for the DS. So i called again lady on the phone tells me my warranty is for a pink DS. Thats what i have a pink DS . But tells me its up to the store. So now im sitting here with a broken Ds. Feel robbed by the big Bestbuy company. I hope that somebody can help me out in this situation.

You need the customer service PIN off the bottom of the receipt. If 1-888 can give that to you, you can go in the store and have them print out a copy of the receipt, which should show the GSBTP plan.

The problem is i purchased the DS with cash. And Bestbuy stores need a copy of the original reciept for cash tramsactions. The sales person nevewr mentioned that info to me. Help Help Help!!!!

If you purchased the GSBTP plan, then the receipt will be in your profile under your name and phone number.

All they should need is the PRP number to look up the account and process the transaction, a duplicate receipt (which they can reprint at the store) will work just as well as an original (or at least does at my store, unsure if it is a universal practice).
Wait for one of the Community Connectors, they hopefully can help you out and figure out what is going on.
