Best Buy® and Dell have been partnering to bring you quality Dell laptops, desktops, and monitors for over a year in our stores and online at BestBuy.com. Best Buy® continues to provide this purchasing opportunity and honor Dell’s manufacturer warranty, although some customers may have had previous difficulty or confusion on how to obtain services. Recently we have worked to ensure continuity in obtaining service under warranty through enhanced communication and options for customers.
Now, customers who purchase Dell systems or monitors at Best Buy® may obtain limited hardware warranty support from either Best Buy® in-store Geek Squad® Agents or Dell’s Technical Support (via phone, email, or chat) for current or future service needs. Customers who also purchase a Geek Squad® Black Tie Protection plan retain this option during the first year (for service needs covered under Dell’s limited hardware warranty) with subsequent support from Geek Squad® for the remainder of the plan’s coverage. System returns and exchanges are still handled according to Best Buy® Store Return Policy or Online Return Policy accordingly.
Both Dell and Best Buy® encourage customers to become familiar with the details of this limited hardware warranty at http://tinyurl.com/bbydellwarranty. We also strongly suggest registering your Dell system at http://tinyurl.com/bbydelltoo immediately to ensure there are no delays should you opt for future support from Dell. You will need to locate the Service Tag number to register. For support locating this type of serial number or to register your product over the phone, call Dell at 1-800-624-9896. This is a post I´ve created, and had no answers. Maybe you can help me.
Hi, I'm from Argentina. Buyed a Dell S2330MX monitor in a Best Buy Store at Miami, payed for the 2 yr protection plan.
The touch buttons are not working correctly, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I've searched the internet and it seems that it is a very common problem in this monitor. For that reason, plus the vision angles are very poor, I want to change it for another monitor. Is that possible ? Should I talk with Best Buy or with Dell ?
The monitor was buyed on January 30th, 2012.
Thanks.
Fernando.
