We purchased 5 appliances 5 years ago, along with the appliances, we purchased an extended warranty plan. We used the warrany plan a lot during the 5 years and figured being on a tight budget we would extend the warranty so that we could have some peace of mind knowing that we wouldn't have to shell out thousands of dollars to replace the appliances. When I contaced BB I was told that because we purchased the appliances as a "package deal" and the warranty was also given as a "pacage deal" they would not let me pay any amount to extend the warranty. I told them to give me seperate plans, but they would not. They were just saying over and over that they are "sorry" and there is nothing they can do.
Also, 90 days ago we had a problem with the dishwasher. I had BB out (it was still under the 5 year warranty) and they fixed it. Today, the dishwasher is doing the same thing it was doing just 90 days ago. I called and explained that although it is not under the extended warranty any longer, it is still doing the same thing it was when I had them out originally. Why was I not surprised to find that they only warranty their work for 30 FRIGGEN days - what is that 30 days??
That is terrible to not stand behind your work or the parts any longer than that.
You can bet that I will NEVER EVER EVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!! Not only that, I will make sure that everyone I know, every person that our business brings in - anyone that will listen will be told this story. I know I'm not alone, there are pages and pages of complaints and they will continue to flood in until everyone wakes up and stops shopping at a place that doesn't care about their customers. We are just a $$ sign to them! Did I mention NEVER EVER will I be back!!

It’s always difficult when a major appliance is in need of repairs, so I can imagine how frustrated you must feel to be experiencing problems with your dishwasher. Your disappointment at discovering that certain service plans cannot be renewed is also understandable, especially if you were not made aware of this fact at the time of sale. Although I do not know why your dishwasher would break down so soon after it was serviced – or why there would have been a lack of communication regarding your service plan coverage – I apologize if you found this to be the case.
As you may already be aware, all services provided by Geek Squad® and Best Buy® carry a 30-day guarantee. Once beyond that point, additional follow-up services can only be provided free of charge if the product is still covered by either factory warranty or service plan coverage. It’s regrettable if this does not meet your expectations, but rest assured that management will have the opportunity to review the situation.
