Best Buy Customer Service is a Joke!

I recently purchased a $1200 TV from a local store.  After never recieving or being notified of any payment I went to the store to make a payment.  Guess what?  You can't make a payment there, you have to call a call center in another country.  Once I called there they told me my $24 payment was now $65 because it was late.  I explained my story and they refused and said they couldn't take a late fee off.  I said fine and agreed to pay.  Well they don't accept debit cards, apparently they only accept checks over the phone for a $15 fee.  I didn't have my check book so I said I would call back, this is Friday.  I called back on Tuesday and guess what my payment is then?  $135 and they removed my no interest for 2 years- yeah the store or the credit folks never said anything about that did they?  Once again they refused to remove the late charges and called me a liar saying that I agreed to pay that day when I first called and that day only, they actually told me I was lieing.  I finally said whatever, after a 45 min battle on the phone with people who called me a liar and took me for hundreds of dollars.  I gave them the check info and they said they would review the tapes and see what was said and call me back.  Has anyone called me back? nope. Has my payment gone through? nope.  I also sent in a complaint through the Best Buy website and never recieved a reply.  This has been by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a company.  I gave them $1200 and they try to rip me off for more and I recieve no help from anyone.  Best Buy is ridiculous and I, nor my family or friends or anyone reading this, should ever buy anything from there again.  Go somewhere else or Best Buy will rob you for money and no one will help you.  Guys in India will tell you they are doing something and never do it.  And the store won't help either.

Wow, it is nice to see that my problem with Best Buy is still being ignored.  There are moderators on this site that are supposed to try and fix things but it seems I am being overlooked, again.  Great service

In case you are unaware, HSBC (the bank that administers our credit cards) is a separate company from Best Buy® and we do not have direct access to or influence over their records, policies or procedures. 

 

However, I am really sorry to hear of the misunderstanding and circumstances involved in your situation, as we certainly do appreciate you signing up for the card.  Therefore, I have contacted HSBC on your behalf and have some news that I think you’ll be very happy about!  Please refer to the private message I have sent you for specific information.
