BLACK TIE FOR PHONE NO GOOD

I also was told that all I had to do was bring the phone in and I would get a working phone on the spot. I am hear to let people know how disorganized the exchange system is. ( PAY ATTENTION BEST BUY UPPER MANAGEMENT). First off if you travel often DO NOT buy the Black Tie protection plan until they can resolve this issue. On Thursday January 26, 2012 I dropped my phone in a puddle in a rural part of western TN. On Saturday January 28, 2012 I make the hour and twenty minute drive to the nearest Best Buy Mobile store #2912 in Jackson TN. A very helpful man by the name of John who is also the store manager tells me he has to send my phone off for repair and he can give me a loaner for $50.00 dollars but he can not send my phone to FL. my next destination but I figure this will workout I will be returning to TN. in a few weeks I can get it then. The night I left the store the speaker blows in the the loaner phone. I get back to FL. and go to the Best Buy Store in Jensen Beach FL #881 on Thursday February 2,2012 and talk to a man named Zach who was also very helpful, he called John and made arrangements to get my phone sent to store 881 and send Johns loaner back and give me another loaner in the mean time. Zach made very detailed notes and took great care in making sure whoever processed my paperwork would send John's loaner back to him. We are now on Tuesday February 7, 2012 and my phone is still in Jackson TN. for good reason John is waiting on confirmation that his loaner is coming back to him. After almost FIVE HOURS of trying to get someone on the phone in the Jensen Beach Store I find out John's phone is still in Jensen and Zach and his manager are both off today, no one else wants to take the responsibility to put this phone (with very detailed instruction on where to send it) in the mail. I am leaving FL for SC. Thursday so now I am going to have to pick up my phone from another store and still have to the loaner from FL. (that I can't get my emails in a timely manner on) that will need to get back there. Long story short I have had my phone 18 months and paid $180.00 dollars+tax+fuel to Black Tie when I could of paid $133.00 dollars+ tax+$100.00 to Sprint and had my phone the $53.00 dollars would of been worth it. CAN SOMEONE JUST GET ME MY PHONE IN A TIMELY MANNER SPRINT HAS IT FIGURED OUT! The help I received from John at store #2912 and Zach at store #881 was awesome Best Buy needs more help like this.

Totally Agree, Sprint gets your phone back to you in 24-48 Hrs No Hassle, I had to have my phone turned off, then re-activated the next day to get my Sprint insurance back and cancelled Black Tie!

Re: BLACK TIE FOR PHONE NO GOOD

Hey Ryan no word from Greg yet. I should of new I would not get any better service here. I fire employees that do not perform I guess places like Best Buy hire them, these kind of people can hide in these big corporations and make just enough money to live on. They should be proud to know that they are why the company can stay in business and use them by paying low wages. I NEED MY PHONE BACK WITHOUT HAVING TO CHASE IT ALL OVER THE COUNTRY SEND IT TO THE ADDRESS WHERE I AM NOT THE STORE!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A CONCEPT. WHEN I NEED A PART AS FAST AS I CAN GET IT I USE A COMPANY CALLED FED- EX WHITE GLOVE CUSTOM THEY WILL BRING IT WHERE EVER WHEN EVER HOW EVER NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Re: BLACK TIE FOR PHONE NO GOOD

Hello DNA-Automotive,

I apologize for my delayed response.  I connected with Diana, who is one of our managers in Jensen Beach, and she let me know that your phone arrived from Tennessee early this week and that you were able to pick it up.   I know that you’re on the road a lot; thank you for your patience while we shipped your phone around to the right spot for you.  I’m sorry we weren’t able to get it out to Jensen Beach for you faster.

I hope the phone is working out alright for you.  Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you decide on that iPhone upgrade.

Cheers,
