I understand that in november cash 4 clunker is now going to for appliances in november and i want to see if best buy will partipated in this prgram because i have a few thing to trade inand what would be the policy and agreement for this trade in ?

Hey harold938 -

Great question!  I think it sounds pretty awesome myself!  Best Buy® has been in conversation with Congress in regards to supporting their plan to initiate this stimulus package based on sales of energy efficient appliances.  As an appliance retailer, we are interested in participating in this program, however we are unable to provide specific details of this program yet, as we are waiting for details from the states.  The Federal Government has passed this program onto each State Government.  Each state has until October 15 to submit a proposal on the timing, dollars, and which appliances will qualify.  This will vary state to state.
