Manufacturer Warranties and Protection Plans

Hi, Im new in here

My problem is that my laptop's (Asus G50VT-X5) fan is getting louder and it heats A LOT!. Someone told me that i have to clean the dust inside of it.

I don't know if I should buy a can of compressed air and blow directly in through the vents or if i have to open my laptop and clean it.

Can i lose my warranty by doing this?

And also i have a protection plan for the batteries and the keyboard. can lose it too?

I bought this laptop in May 2009.

Should i take it to a best buy store and if needed how much it will cost to me and how much time it will last to get it really clean.

I definitely recommend bringing your laptop to Geek Squad® at your local Best Buy® store for repair options. You want to make sure that an authorized service center services your laptop so your manufacturer’s warranty and Black Tie Protection Plan does not get voided. Simply bring your laptop and receipt to one of our stores; one of our agents will be happy to offer you repair options.
