Anyway to get an old receipt/proof of purchase so manufacturer will honor warranty?

About a year ago I bought a pair of headphones from bestbuy.com using a combination of a gift card and my debit card. The exact model seems to no longer be available on the site but its the SRH240 by shure. Recently I stopped getting sound in the left headphone. This isn't really a big deal since shure covers it for up to two years, however they need a receipt. I've moved once since then and no longer have the copy that came in the shipping box nor do I have the receipt that came via email when I first purchased it. Looking in my purchase history I cant see it there. I believe it was purchased around December 2009, though I can't really remember if I used my best buy account to do it or the express check out option. Is there anyway best buy could provide me with the receipt if I give them the debit card info or something? I would really rather not have to pay the repair fee to shure to get these fixed when they're only halfway through the warranty.

I'm not sure if it's different because it was a website order, but if you have the debit card you used a store can probably pull up the reciept from that. I know sometimes debit cards can be a little funky though so there's a chance they might not but if it's not a huge hassle you might just want to go to customer service in a store and see if they can find the purchase. You can also try calling 888-bestbuy or wait here for a community connect who should be along in 3-5 business days.
