Good to know. I may have to pass on UFC, but I asked because I'm always looking for new games. After a while, open world/FPS/RPGs can get a little stale. But I suppose I have Dungeon Defenders to break up some monotony while I wait for ME3.
My boyfriend made me try that other fighting game.... Fight Night. I wasn't feeling it mostly because I didn't much understand the controls or the game. I once attempted an old NBA game and failed miserably. Sporting games are apparently not my strongest suit.
You and Aaron mentioned SRTT. I'm kind of curious about it since I love those kinds of open world RPGs. What's your take (or anyone's take) on it? I hear it's a bit vulgar, which is fine by me but.... meh, vulgar beyond the point of entertainment is boring.

Saint's Row = I didn't find it too vulgar. I couldn't describe some things on this website, but if you have a sense of humor and no children around it would be fine. I also enjoy when HBO or Showtime list what the movie or show has and Crown of Thorns, East Bound & Down or True Blood covers everything I like. But its not too over the top, to me.
I would admit I liked Saint's Row II better than the Third. Now I bought that at a nice discount at Best Buy, a few weeks before I got the Third when it came out, so I might have had too much of that game before I played and should of waited. But, I liked the story and the length of the game much better than the Third. The Third is a good game though, but it was shorter and just a tad less fun. Now there is a zombie feature in the Third, that might be over done by this point, and I didn't play it online (I rented it) but it was a good game. I like how you build up your player's stats more in the Third. I did find the lack of trophies in the second disapointing since it wasn't too old of a game, but it just seemed like a better game to me. I also like that you can customize your character in both games, especially the gender sincemost games in this are male dominated, its cool to have the option. There is actually a trophy for playing the game as a male and female.
Overall they were both really fun. Like a mix of Godfather II and GTA IV with some funk and more customization.

Hmmmmm. I shall have to check it out. I did a bit of research and it does look fun. The other game that was suggested to me a while back (when I was bored and looking for games) was Just Cause, because it had a similar feel to a GTA. But I vetoed that.
By the time I get around to it, it'll most likely be a bit cheaper. I've got Rage and DD to tide me over until..... ME3!

I lovingly refer to SR2 & SR3 as "mayhem simulators" instead of games. There's a story behind each one, but it's the open sandbox semi-slapstick outlandish carnage that keeps me coming back for more.
Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax = Awesome.

So no one is still playing Skyrim?! I seem to recall seeing something about DLC coming out for it. I am technically still in the middle of a playthrough of Skyrim but for some reason have lost my motivation to pick it up again. I probably just need to exert the effort to put the disc back in the drive and I'll be sold again.
I recently played the Bastion (Xbox Live Arcade Exclusive) demo and was intrigued. It's an Action-RPG with a great real-time narrator. Has anyone played the full game and have an opinion?

Who stopped playing Skyrim after she got 1000/1000?
But I will play the DLC. I'm thinking about playing some older games that I have until ME3 (or until I can afford it). I got ZA: NDA but I didn't really get into it at all. Still chipping away at Dungeon Defenders, stuck with 3 maps left on hard. I might actually start Gears of War 3 - if I convince my boyfriend to play it co-op with me!
