Welcome back to the forums and thanks for posting. It’s concerning to hear your pre-order wasn’t ready and waiting for you at your local store like it should have been, and I offer my sincerest apologies for the clear disappointment this has caused.
Please know that that it’s our goal with every pre-order to have them either delivered or ready for pickup on release day. While we are successful in the vast majority of cases, there regrettably can be unforeseen inventory or logistics issues that may delay a pre-order from being shipped to a store, or directly to a customer’s homes. That said, was your local store able to provide any resolution or estimate on when they expect your pre-order should arrive?
