For the most part, I don't normally rush out and buy a game solely on my own accord, except if it's a game that I'm willing to pay $60 for even if it's bad. Since I began gaming only a few years ago, maybe 4 years, I had the chance to play all the great games that I had missed out on.
But, I have been disappointed on a couple occasions.
Blops.
I even upgraded to the Hardened Edition with the steel case, metal and poster, which I have never done before because I don't really care about it. I had a hard time finishing the campaign and barely touched multiplayer. I didn't play it on veteran, and if you've been following my other posts, you know how much of a fangirl I am of CoD and playing the campaign 20 times.
Assassin's Creed I
No explanation needed. That game was pretty terrible, but it set the stage for better games and I love the series.
Zombie Apocalypse: NDA
It's a fun game, but it definitely did not have the longevity of the first. I loved the first one, and was disappointed by the new title.
Those are the games in recent memory.... but I have to say, I liked Fable!
But I also didn't have any expectations. The only reason why I played it was because it was allegedly free one night but then I got charged anyway. Might as well have played it. I also enjoyed Fable III a lot!

Can't believe I forgot about this game....only remembered it cause I was at Best Buy today picking up my preorders and talking to the employer about awful games.
Vampire Rain! Bad on every single level. I played it during work while I was working at a rental place. Me and my coworker thought it was so bad that we rented it, payed for a protection plan for damages and broke the crap out of the disc. We didn't want anybody accidentally playing just to be safe. That bad.
