Re: What are you playing?

Ah, I have played MIrror's Edge :smileyvery-happy: It should be reflected in my awesome gamerscore.

The good news is that my boyfriend said he would play Gears with me (and even Rage).

The bad news is.... I'm going to quit Dungeon Defenders. I can't beat the game on hard. I'll hold out and see if Kyle can give me a hand, but I'm not holding my breath...

Re: What are you playing?

Kyle was on last night playing DD, the key is what and how much will he accept as payment for helping.

You'll like GoW3 it's extremely polished and very much like the first 2.

Rage was a decent time killer. Played like a slightly open world doom. Amazing graphics though. So much so that I didn't think Xbox was capable of putting out those in game graphics

Re: What are you playing?

I only played the second Gears and I enjoyed it, I suppose. I don't like the controls.

I don't think Rage is all that awful. I bought it on black friday for 30 bucks at Best Buy, and I was thinking it was really going to stink after there was so much division over it. Ryan-BBY hated it; he said he quit 3 hours in. I'm about 10 hours in, just waiting for that one mission to completely throw me off and want to quit. So far, it has yet to come.

It's kind of like a mini open world. The world is small, so there's no need for a map. You can drive around wherever, but you can't really explore that much unlike Fallout 3 or Skyrim. But overall, I've been impressed because it hasn't be terrible like people say.

It's my personal theory that those that loved Borderlands were particularly let down and completely wrote the game off. I, on the other hand, despised Borderlands (and have no idea why or how people remotely enjoyed that) and I have enjoyed playing Rage.

Re: What are you playing?

Yeah I played Dungeon Defenders for like 45 min because my son really wanted to but that was it for my gaming last night.  Mariel, we'll have to set up a time and I'll get you through those hard levels, maybe even on insanity... HOWEVER, in return you have to agree to try Borderlands 2 when it comes out.  I don't know what happened when you tried Borderlands the first time that you didn't like it but you need to try 2 when it comes out.  I mean, I was the one who got you hooked on DD so you know I've got decent taste in games.

Re: What are you playing?

Ooooooo, that is a steep haggle, Kyle. I'll have to think about that one.

Ryan, you know that if you and I went head to head in the polls about who is "the real gamer," I would crush your face.

Game on.

Re: What are you playing?

Sad to admit it, but I did somthing like that. Rock Band 2 had a mode- the Ultimate Playlist, playing all the 45 plus songs in a row in one sitting. I completed it in a 10 plus hour, singing all the songs one day. Got a trophy and a clear microphone for it. Sadly you get another trophy if you don't pause it, but I failed when my controller ran out of batteries causing the game to pause and loosing out. Also running to the bathroom between songs and it paused with just a few songs to go. My throat was a little sore from it, not to mention the time wasted.

Re: What are you playing?

Aaron, I am confident I would win a sing off as well!

@gpete - Uhhhh I sort of remember getting a cheevo for playing Beatles Rock band campaign in its entirety in one sitting. And I got that one too.

I finished the campaign of Rage. I liked it.
