Hi,

A couple weeks ago I pre-ordered WoW: WotLK through Best Buy, and today I got an e-mail saying it was ready for pick-up. However, the game isn't supposed to come out until the 13th of November.

Is this an error, or could it be possible my Best Buy store (http://www.bestbuy.com/store/1430/) is getting copies of the game early?

Hey Khaidud,

Welcome to the forums! As happy as it would make me to tell you that the games had come in early, it was an error in our system. The e-mails said 11/3 instead of 11/13. You will need to wait until 11/13 for our stores to have them available for the public. I do apologize for any confusion this might have caused!

How excited are you for the expansion?? I am totally stoked!!

I actually did get an e-mail about 11/3, and then I got another e-mail several hours later saying that was an error.

But on 11/5 I got yet another e-mail saying that it was ready for pick up, and I still haven't recieved a second e-mail saying it was an error, which is why I was confused. I guess I'll just have to wait like everyone else.

As for the expansion, I am very excited! I got to play the beta, and I thought they did a very good job on it. The Death Knight starting areas especially impressed me. I have a feeling it's just going to get better and better, too.

Hey, I was wondering the exact same thing. I got an email a couple days ago telling me that I should get a notification on or around 11/13 that the game is ready for pickup, and to disregard the previous emails telling me that it was ready. Then I just got another one yesterday reminding me to pick it up in the next 6 days to avoid cancellation. I'm assuming this is an error as well, but I wanted to check here first before making a trip all the way out there. It's not going to be cancelled if I don't go in to the store in the next few days, right?

This is what the email said:

Your order is now ready for pickup during store hours at the OREM UT Best Buy store #773. To avoid order cancellation, please pick up your item(s) within 6 days.

Welcome to the forums! The release date is absolutely November 13th. Please disregard any other information you might receive, unless Blizzard miraculously decides to release early. ZOMG ONE CAN ONLY HOPE!!!! However we all know that is not going to happen.

Come on NOVEMBER 13th!!!

Howdy couchmeister!

The stores will absolutely have enough copies to cover the pre-orders. You will need to take your receipt from the pre-order to Customer Service and they should have your game set aside.

Hi I wanna know if the stores will be open wednesday night to thursday at 12:00am for the release of the game. So i can quickly go pick it up at the time!
