Is the Steel case and poster only for preordering the regular version or does the offer extend to the collectors edition as well?

You get both for preordering any version. Are you doing it in stores or online? Honestly not sure about in stores. Usually through past times they have steelbooks available at the time of pre-order. Haven't heard any info on them having it yet though. Hopefully they get them when people pick it up. Hope there is more info about that soon. If online, you should get it as long as you add the two items along with the game in the same transaction. Both items will be discounted once all 3 items are placed.

Weird. I just did it to try it out. Added the Collector Edition for PS3 to my cart and the system automatically added the poster and steelbook. Not sure why. I say give it a try again and hope it works.

Hey Zz and Bumcats,

This is interesting. While Bumcats was able to add the CE to the cart with the items, I tried adding the 360 version of the CE and no items appeared. I always do the 360 version because I'm a 360 gamer.

Also note that under the CE on the item page, it specifically points out the steelcase and poster, yet I couldn't get the items to show up in my cart either.

It's my understanding that it shouldn't matter what edition, but I've sent an email to our business team to get some clarification on this.

Update:

This is a known issue with the CE. In order to make the preorder items appear in your cart, you must clear you cookies/cache in your browser. There is some sort of glitch with automatically adding the promotional items, but I just tried this out and was able to see the items with the CE on Xbox 360.
