hockeycanuckjc, that is funny, interestingly enough my sister who is older than me and almost 30 is obsessed with Rock Band 2 for Nintendo Wii, I don't get it, I played it and it was okay for about 5 minutes but then I thought it was very boring. Oh well to each his own I guess.
My mother on the other hand is obsessed with The Sims 2, I bought the original almost 9 or 10 years ago and thought it was really good, but I got over it, she has been obsessed with it since then. She plays a lot and actually complains when her Sim does something she doesn't want them too, or heaven forbid her Sim Cat pee's on the floor.

Right now I have the game removed from my hard drive, I had to do a clean install on my machine and buy Vista Basic to essentially have a clean install without all the MCE junk and other bloat on my acer computer.
Once I get my Hybrid SLI enabled video card back in there , its time to game! ![]()

I wouldn’t necessarily say that it's a bad thing! It could simply be a sign that the two of you have more interests in common that you had previously thought.

Your comment made me laugh GeraldRose. My oldest daughter loves the Sims, but sometimes she does not like to send them to school or work, and just indulges their social side, so her Sims have MULTIPLE times started fires and burnt her houses down!!! I think I will keep her away from the stove
My youngest is obsessed, I mean horridly obsessed with Guitar Hero. However, she will not play on anything but "Hard" mode and says that if you play on easy you are a "cheater". Of course, this is the daughter who learned to read at the age of 4 so she could "play her games better". When we moved to Minnesota, I warned my then fiance that she would school him on Soul Caliber. He did not believe me that a 5 year old could be so good at a video game, but she is, and she did indeed hand him a defeat or two! "
My whole household loves video games, now that I think about it. I think if my mom played any games, she would enjoy it too, but she is so far away in Florida! I guess I will have to settle for my in-laws loving the Wii!

My mom can play the Sims all she wants, but talking to her Sims or yelling at her Sims...too much.
Cettainly a amazing game but it becomes stale after a while, I wonder if she will buy The Sims 3??
Guitar Hero, I just can't get into that. Perhaps I would rather be rocking out to my music rather than making it.

Yeah...I am not so good myself at Guitar Hero. Like I said, my children love it, and we bought them World Tour this past holiday, however I found the screechy singing and the drum playing not to my liking after a very short time period. We have it set up downstairs in the basement and it totally intereferes with my World of Warcraft!
