Got this flyer from my local BB regarding their midnight release for call of duty modern warfare 3 & it says

"all customers receive AT LEAST a $5 giftcard with every COD:MW3 purchase OR a $20 off w/approval of our Reward Zone Credit Card"

1-Does this mean there's a way to get more than the $5 giftcard for a MW3 purchase?

2-Is this the same offer that's avail. for all the stores doing the midnight release for MW3?

Hello enuf,

If your local store is giving away a $5 gift card with Modern Warfare 3, that would be an individual store promotion. We do not have an offer like that in place for other stores. It is true about getting $20 off with the approval of a Reward Zone credit card, but I have not heard of the $5 gift card.

I personally haven't heard of the $5 promotion either, so it sounds like it is a store-by-store basis. Nice that they are offering that though. I am curious which of the major retailers is going to try and undercut other stores and have it for $49.99, thankfully Best Buy price matches if someone else does offer it cheaper.

If this is a store by store basis why does one store choose not to participate in such good offers. Is there an "offer sheet" that store pick & choose from? Otherwise there's gonna be wild west chaos of deals that like Brendan some store officials will completely clueless when these offers are introduce/requested from the customer.

Thats what I'd like to know.  And time is kind of a factor here, so answering sooner rather than later would be ideal .

Yes, you can get the game at midnight without a pre-order. Of course, this depends completely on whether they have enough copies on hand. Pre-orders will be fulfilled first, so it is a good idea to place a pre-order today to make sure.
