Anyone actually gonna buy the new Medal of Honor Warfighter, which seems to be a sequal to the 2011 Medal of Honor

I loved the campaign on the 2011 version,played it over 6 times but the multiplayer was 2.5 out of 5 on a good day

Any thoughts?

I kinda liked the online as I was a good sniper. But this game is going to be like Assassins Creed, price will tank in a couple months to $30. Will wait for $15-$20 price as I did like the campaign.

my thoughts exactly unless they release an amazing demo to change my mind like with ME3 or include some awesome preorder incentive im just gonna wait it out

CoD FTW.

I never got into Medal of Honor because I had always heard that while the series tries to be unique, it can never stack up to CoD or BF. The concepts are all there, but it always manages to fall short.

I would say otherwise, atleast on the PC, the multilayer was far superior to cod or even counter strike in my opinion the only other shooter I loved as much was unreal tournament series. Which unfortunately they carried over to console. Such a beautiful game  should never be downgraded to run on less capable machines(360 and PS3)

There is only 1 FPS I would recommend for PC, BF. it was made around PC and when you get a 64 player match on one of those massive maps it feels like a true battle.

When it's dumbed down to 16 or 20 (whatever the cap is on console) the tactical options your team has isn't quite as potent

So it sounds like we can all agree that MOH on console doesn't really...work well.

I dunno, I kind of like when PC games venture into the console medium.  I loved Civilization Revolution when it came to PS3.  I played through every leader.  Sure they had to simplify a lot of the gameplay but I kind of liked the removal of some of the micromanagement.

Sorry, back to FPS PC games, anyone ever play Soldier of Fortune back in the day?  That was a staple at LAN parties when I was in HS.

Nah we always did quake or socom for LAN.

MoH was horribly known for snipers because sniper rifles are 1 hit kills even if you nick his big toe. Fun for a while, but it either gets really boring killing everyone if you're a good sniper or a better sniper comes along and you die repeatedly.

Its worse on COD, you don't even have to even aim at them let alone hit them.  LOL
