Hey everybody, i pre-ordered a copy of the Halo Wars limited edition a couple of weeks ago via the bestbuy website.  I understand that since i pre-ordered that i am entitled to a code for a "flaming warthog", do i recieve this code via e-mail?

Secondly i noticed that after searching "halo wars" on the search bar and scrolling down to the picture of the "flaming warthog" that it said: "While supplies last. If you have previously opted out of our marketing e-mails, you will not receive the access code e-mail and instructions." (its in the smaller print)  What does it mean by "opted out of our marketing e-mails" and does this mean i woln't get my code if they run out of them even though i had pre-ordered weeks before even posting this?

Hello-

We will be sending out codes via email on 3/3/09 and as long as you logged into your Best Buy account (and have an email address registered with BBY) when you purchased your pre-order you will receive an email with your code on 3/3.

I pre-ordered in store and when I asked about the code at customer service, they had no idea what I was talking about.  Then after I went to the gaming department and asked them and they said the code should've been in the packaging (which wasn't the case).  Now what can I do to get the code?

Well, this issue isn't "solved" for me. The store refused to let me keep the "Pre-Order" box and today, when I give my son this game for his birthday, I'm going nuts looking for this code.

The manager at my store told me to "try Google" and that they "sent all the boxes back."

The 888 number has no clue why somoene on here said there would be a few codes available through them.

THey gave me a giftcard and that's fine, but that doesn't get me the pre-order gift. Any suggestions?

I'm about done with BB over this.
