Hi!

I was wondering if anybody could tell me when it's possible that Guitar Hero: World Tour for the Nintendo Wii will come back in stock in the Danbury, CT store (store 331). I also would like to know if I could possibly reserve one in my name so that I could come in to just pay for it and leave.

I am looking for the entire drum band kit ($189.99).

They sell out so quickly that I have no chance to buy one for myself!

Again, that is the Band Kit of Guitar Hero: World Tour for the Nintendo Wii and I am looking to buy it from the Danbury, CT store (store 331), and would like to know when it would come back in stock or how often it usually does.

I contacted the store in Danbury and unfortunately they are out of the Guitar Hero: World Tour Band Kit.  At this time they only have the game with the guitar available.  The store was unable to provide me with any information as to when they would get more Band Kits, however they receive their warehouse trucks on Wednesday and Friday nights, so that might be the best time for you to check.  I worked in the field for a very long time and I can tell you that at store level we honestly rarely know when we are going to receive hot products.  Basically when it comes on the truck or in from UPS, then we have it.

Oh yeah, now that I know I have an option between Rock Band and Guitar Hero: World Tour Rock Band Kit, my children are so going to hound me for one of the two!!   The already have Guitar Hero 1 & 3, so this would totally thrill them!

One last question just for clarification: You are saying that I should check Wed. and Fri. nights, or do you mean that they get those shipments and put out the products on Thurs. and Sat. mornings so then I should check Thursdays and Saturdays? I really want to know as specific as possible a time for me to check because I live kind of far and that's the closest Best Buy to me.

Oh, and to make your kids extremely happy, I would definitely recommend buying Guitar Hero: World Tour over Rock Band. If you think that the price is too steep, try to negotiate something with them like having them pay a little bit or make them promise to not ask for more video games for a while. I like GH:WT better because it let's you make your own songs and create a band over the internet and much more which is mainly the reason why I want it! (I'm 12, so I sort of get what they're going through and have negotiated with my dad, too!)

I totally didn't know that about creating your own songs in GH:WT!! That is awesome!! I love getting the perspective of a younger person, so thank you for giving it! 

I want to clarify my previous statement.  When I spoke to the store, they told me that they received their trucks on Wednesday and Fridays.  I am not sure what time their shipments come in, your best bet might be to contact the store and connect with someone directly on site.  

I really admire your tenacity in trying to obtain this unit on your own.  Can you teach my children this type of initiative?
