Dungeon Defenders - Help!

Hey gamers,

I've recently been playing Dungeon Defenders on Xbox 360, an awesome game that has provided me many hours of fun. I'm wondering who else out there plays it much, because I'm having some trouble.

I have a level 70 Squire and I'm trying to beat the campaign on Hard, but I keep getting my butt kicked by the Robot in The Throne Room. I've been working on leveling a Huntress with powerful mines, as I heard if I place some mines in the Robot's path, it will severely damage the enemy.

I have a level 38 Huntress and it's not cutting it. Anyone have any suggestions how I can beat The Throne Room on Hard?

Re: Dungeon Defenders - Help!

You should kick the robot's butt. :robotmad:  Literally, he's weak there when the "furnace hatch" opens.

I know it's tough to get behind him when he is owning everything in his path but maybe you could to place a couple Harpoon turrets pointing towards his back when he's about half-way down the hall.  That way they'll hit that weak spot and bring him down more quickly.  You might need to mess around with your Squire tower set up to make sure you have enough Build Units to do this though.  I've found that a Bouncer Blockade (4 Build Units) will sometimes suffice in place of a Slice N Dice Blockade (8 Build Units) at choke points.

Also, I've noticed you can grab the robot's attention (aggro him, for you WoWers out there) if you do enough damage so you could potentially juggle him back and forth with another player and keep him walking through your traps and turret fire.  The Huntress's Invisibility skill might come in handy here if you get "too much" of his attention.

I R a big fan of strategy games. *pushes up glasses on nose* ... *adjusts Sid Meier poster on wall*

Re: Dungeon Defenders - Help!

I tried again this weekend and failed. But I also spent a good chunk of time leveling my Huntress to level 43.

I'll have to give it a try!

Re: Dungeon Defenders - Help!

Man I have a huge backlog of games, but for some reason everyone keeps talking about Dungeon Defender. Sadly I think I may have to give in and add one more game to my backlog...

You totally should, Jimmie. Are there any other DD fans out there?
