Is there a list of the Best Buys that will have a midnight release for Battlefield 3?

Hey wodkers - It can vary from store to store so I would recommend checking with your local store's Gaming Associates.  Otherwise, let me know which store you were looking at picking up Battlefield 3 and I'll see if what I can out.

I'm not the OP and I don't mean to thread jack but I am interested in knowing if my local Bestbuy's will be having a midnight release for Battlefield 3. Store number: 349 - store zip:  95758. Or better yet is there a specific link that shows a list of Bestbuy's that will participate in midnight releases? Any information will be great. Thanks in advance.

I called my store and they said they don't know as of right now if they will be having one. However,  they will no shortly and I should check back soon.

The store I am inquiring about is Amherst, NY store# 459.  If you could look it up on your end and let me know that would be great.

NoodleN1nja - I'm showing that the Elk Grove, CA location is in fact doing a midnight release for Battlefield 3.

wodkers - Yep, it looks like the Amherst, NY location is having one as well.

You may want to check in with them again as the date gets closer but they should know now as the release date is a week out.

Not to threadjack, but I have the same question. Im unable to find any info about whether the store from which I preordered is having a midnight release, but thats largely because Im not sure where Im supposed to be looking. Im trying to find out if store 352 is doing a midnight release.

To find out if your store is having a midnight launch, simply go to www.bestbuy.com, and then in the search box type in Battlefield 3. Once there, under the main BF3 graphic, on the left side, it will state "Midnight Store Openings", simply run your mouse over that (no clicking required) and a window will open up with a drag-down menu that you can select by state which stores are having the midnight release. Some stores are not updated on that list, so check back a few days before.

When I do that, instead of getting a list it just takes me to the store from which I preordered. Now, that could mean that theyre doing a midnight release (I certainly hope so) or it could mean Im failing at web browsing and that would make me very sad.
