Self proclaimed god of MCs “Jayhova” Jay-Z and “The Louis Vuitton Don” Kanye West have come together for an electric collaboration. The fruits of this collaboration bring one of the most anticipated releases of the year, Watch the Throne. These two titans go way back to 2001 when Kanye rose to stardom for helping produce one of Jay-Z’s most successful albums, The Blueprint. The Blueprint became a hip-hop classic with hits like "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)" and “Girls, Girls, Girls”.

 

This partnership showcases the duo’s unique expressive skills and has already received critical acclaim from the press and music enthusiasts. The Deluxe CD-version of Watch the Throne will be available exclusively at Best Buy® stores on Aug. 12. The Deluxe edition included four bonus songs and special gold packaging. So go out and get what many claim will be an instant classic album. Is this the first of more albums from the duo to come? Will it live up to the hype and receive accolades galore?
