TiVo without a set-top box?!

Have you heard the latest news?  If not, then check this out: Best Buy and TiVo recently announced that they’re partnering to integrate TiVo’s software and television services into internet-connectable Insignia televisions.

Just imagine it!  Soon you’ll be able to access all of TiVo’s premium content without the need for a separate set-top box, another remote control, and half a dozen extra cables behind your home entertainment center.  And the best part is that is relies on a single user interface right on the TV screen, just like a regular audio/video settings menu.
