Best Buy presents a whole new movie-going experience:  Best Buy Movie Mode.

Soon, you will be able to download the only mobile app to sync with the movie screen for a one-of-a-kind experience.  Apps will be available for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile.*

Launching with the movie Despicable Me, use the app to translate what the minions are saying, and unlock exclusive content after the show.

How does it work?  When you enter the theater:

   1. Put your phone into silent mode.

   2. Start the application and enter Movie Mode before the movie begins.

   3. Your phone will vibrate when it's time to enjoy a whole new experience during the end credits.

Worried about your phone ringing?  Movie Mode will silence and dim your phone until it's needed to make sure you do not ruin the movie experience for those around you.

I want to know when this will become available for Palm.  It's almost like Best Buy has something against Palm since the app is available for every other platform.
