Hey,
Lately I have been looking for any possible way to save money and, given the current state of our economy I’m confident I’m not alone. Every time I walk into my kitchen and hear the whining of my ancient refrigerator I’m reminded of its imminent demise. I then go into my basement to check on the clothes I put in the dryer over an hour before only to find that the dryer is still struggling away to remove the moisture. This is my daily reminder that my wallet is in dire need of all new energy efficient appliances.
My wife and I are acutely aware of this need, and every time we go to our local Best Buy® store we inevitably end up browsing appliances. If saving on energy costs is important to you, always look for the Energy Star logo on an appliance. An Energy Star refrigerator should save its owner around $240 in savings a year; a clothes washer with the Energy Star Logo should use 50 percent less water, and 30 percent less energy.
If you want to learn more about how to save money with energy efficient appliances go to the Energy Star page on BestBuy.com. Did you know that in order for the Environmental Protection Agency to award a specific product the Energy Star label the item must prove through testing that, over the average lifespan of the item, the owner will save money in energy expenditures? Find more energy saving information and advice like that on the Energy Star website.
I think it is time for my family to stop browsing and finally start saving money with new Energy Star appliances. I’m sure my bills will be very happy to hear that I’ve finally put these appliances out of their misery, and more money will be going their way.
