Sixx on the Sixth!
Are you a Mötley Crüe fan? Better yet, are you a Nikki Sixx fan? Do you wanna be? If you missed our live chat, check out the transcript here.
If you’re like me, there are about a gazillion questions you want to ask Sixx. I mean he’s the author of two books, The Heroin Diaries and This is Gonna Hurt, which I’m reading right now. He’s a founding member of Mötley Crüe and one of the baddest hard rock bass guitar players around. Besides Mötley Crüe, he also formed a band called Brides of Destruction. He and Kelly Gray formed Royal Underground Clothing, a men’s clothing line, which can be found in some very upscale department stores. A women’s clothing line came soon thereafter.
Sixx says his favorite song is “Dream On” by Aerosmith. Do you believe it? I plan to confirm that - and a bunch of other things. I’m a fan of his and Mötley Crüe; saw them last year in concert with the whole gang. Loved it! Sixx is just now heading back from the European tour and I hear it was a smashing success. Mediums like his books and music are now also paired with his radio show Sixx Sense, which is on from 7p.m. to midnight local time on 100 stations. This is where Sixx gives us listeners a backstage look at his world and the mind of a rock star…errr…hmmm…make that a rock god!
