You've placed your order, gotten your order confirmation and now the email with your tracking information has arrived! Now you've just got the excitement of waiting for your package arrive! Here are some tips that may help to make it a more pleasant experience!
During the holidays, all the various carriers deliver a lot of packages. All those packages mean a lot of updating of tracking numbers. This can also mean delays in your tracking information updating on their websites:
Holiday shipping volumes can also mean extra delivery time for your orders as well, regardless of the carrier delivering your package. Weather may also have a decided impact on delivery times for your packages.
Please know that due the volume of orders we ship, it's not feasible for us to check every customer's shipping status within our normal turnaround times (as much as we would like to).
TL;DR #1 – If your orders still says “Awaiting Carrier Pickup” 24-48 business hours after you get your shipping notice, please send a Private Message to one of the specialists , with your full name, BestBuy.com order number and email address.
TL;DR #2 – If your order has exceeded the Estimated Delivery Date on your shipping email or the carrier website, please send a Private Message to one of the specialists , with your full name, BestBuy.com order number and email address.
