Son got new Call of Duty for Christmas, bumped his Xbox and caused the disc to get scratched. Tried "disc buffing compound" with no luck. Any chance you can return it for a new one?

Probably not since he damaged it, its been known not to move/bump the xbox or the disc will get scratched.  You can try the worst that can happen is they say no.
