I pre purchased Xbox 360 game SSX. This game released Tuesday this week.

Best Buy exclusive down load code for customers who pre purchased this game were to be given a code. Level 6 custom character snow board.

Well for two days after I picked this game up at the store my code was never emailed to me.

I played the game enough to level my characters to 8 through 10. Finally on 3rd day the code arrived in my inbox.

Useless now because the character board is for level 6 which I already surpassed.

What a joke best buy... getting my games at Game Stop from now on. They give pre order content day of purchase.

This might be obvious but did you check the receipt? Sometimes they have the code on the receipt when you go pick it up.

Wasn't on receipt. Instructions were it would be emailed on or around release date. I guess 3 days covered the terms "around".!!

They email the codes with in an hour of picking up the game and if not you gotta call them up

Don't understand why you are complaining since you did receive the code. I'm going to assume a level 6 custom board is still usable by higher leveled characters.

Well you are correct it can be used, unfortunately it would be the same as if using training wheels on a bike after you already became a pro rider. What's the point. I will continue to believe I was robbed the chance to use this board unless I start the game over from scratch which would mean losing the 16 hours I already put into grinding my character levels.

I can definitely understand your frustration with not receiving your snowboard pre-order content until it was pretty much obsolete considering your progress in the game already.  I'm sure I would feel the same way.

I don't know what caused the delay on that email delivery because we have our pre-order system set up to trigger emails right when the transaction takes place but, if something went wrong, we may have had to retroactively fulfill some transactions.  I'm not aware of anything being amiss with this particular code but I am really sorry it had an adverse effect on your gaming experience.  Please know that this is not how we have it designed to work and you should have had the code the same day you purchased the game.
