the other i went to best buy to buy code geass season 1 and 2 i trade a few games to get it and if i pre order mass effect 3 i got a a increase on my trade in games so i just decided to buy mass effect 3 at best buy but i recently heard that a gamestop in my area is going to have a midnight and the best buy in my is not so can still cancel my mass effect 3 pre order

I can understand why you would want to get Mass Effect 3 as soon as possible (midnight) because it looks awesome I am pumped to get the game as well.  You are welcome to return your in-store pre-order deposit whenever you would like.  I'm guessing you bought it using some of your trade-in credit so, if that's the case the return will go on that gift card or a new one.
