Hi! I have a new black xbox 360 controller that I purchased about a little more than a month ago and i was wondering if I can swap it with an old white one which is actually cheaper than the black.

Hey Mrniceguy5,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your question about swapping out your new black controller for a white one. You would have 30 days to either exchange or return your controller with your receipt from the purchase day. If you're within that time period you should be good to go.
As I recall, we actually don't sell the white ones. It looks like we have a Marketplace item on Bestbuy.com but Best Buy does not currently sell the white ones. I just double checked but I also remember before Christmas I checked because my roommate broke my white one. (But he gave me a black one for Christmas
)
Hope that answers your question and happy gaming!

Thanks for the reply but i happened to find the controller on the site just now. and its really cheap for some reason? Heres the link..http://www.bestbuy.com/site/CTA+Digital+Inc.+-+XB-
I don't have the receipt and its been like 6 days over the 30 day warranty. but its still perfectly new

Right - this is actually a Marketplace item. You can still purchase it, but because it's not coming from Best Buy, you wouldn't be able to exchange it for the one you have. Perhaps the store could make an exception for you, but because you're outside the return policy, they wouldn't be able to refund you your money. They might be able to offer store credit, but that is up to their discretion. Best Buy credit can't be used to purchase Marketplace items.
You could still try and return the item, then pay for the white controller through the Marketplace. Hope that helps!
