XBox 360 Warranty Question

Is there a way that an employee at Best Buy can check if my XBox 360 is still under the extended warranty from Best Buy?

I had to have service done on one of my Plasma TV's and they looked my information up(I misplaced my warranty information), so give them a call and they should be able to pull it up, it should be rather simple if you used your bestbuy card as well....

 

If you have the Red Rings of Death your 360 will be covered until Microsofts 3 yr warranty on your 360....but you will have to send your unit out whereas Best Buy will replace it(I believe)....

We certainly can help you do that! The only trick is that if you purchased your Xbox 360 and Product Replacement Plan (PRP) in cash, we'll need some very specific information from you in order to locate the purchase:

• The date of purchase
• The city and state of the store where you bought the console
• A ballpark figure of how much the total purchase was, tax included

Regardless of how you purchased it, you always have a few options to locate a lost receipt: stop into your local store and speak with an associate at the customer service desk, call our Consumer Relations department at 1-888-BEST-BUY (1-888-237-8289), or send us an e-mail through the “Contact Us” page on www.Bestbuy.com.
