Hi:
My son's Xbox that we purchased in November of 2010 is having some issues and will no longer work properly. We're not sure if we purchased a warranty at the time, as our statement only indicates the amount spent online, and there is no details regarding said warranty. Just wondering if there is any way of verifying this through the store computer/etc. If so, any advice on the best way to get the console repaired this far into it's lifespan would be greatly appreciated. Whether it's BB or Microsoft.
Thx

Microsoft warrants the Xbox 360 for 1 year from defects. Here's the website: http://support.xbox.com/en-us/pages/xbox-360/troub
It gives some more information and let's you start the repair process.

Obucey,
Hey there, to answer your question, Yes! There is absolutely a way you can be assisted in your local store! If you purchased the product online you should have an order number from your purchase that was emailed to you. Be sure to take the paper work in that has this information to a Best Buy store and they will be ableto look up your purchase. You would also be able to contact Best Buy directly from your phone at 1-888-237-8289. Best of Luck.
