Same boat here, I just posted a thread yesterday. I found out that finally it has reached NJ, but due to delays in the postal system I won't get it until Monday or Tuesday. There's several level 80's done and Realm First achievements completed.  That's the last time I preorder from Best Buy online.  

In my opinion, there should be a disclaimer on your [Best Buy] website when preordering that "THIS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL 11/13!"... I'm aware the release date was 11/13 as I'm sure 99.99% of the WoW players did, but again as I started on my other thread many companies ship a day or two early because they are AWARE of the limitations in the Postal System as the moderator pointed out, and planned accordingly.  That day or two early for shipping would have made the difference in me receiving my game today - November 15th - or having to wait until Monday the 17th.

The result? I'm going to Game Stop as we speak and I'm returning the mailed copy to Best Buy and getting my credit card refunded.  I don't mind being out the $2.50 for shipping, I just want the smile on my face when I give my money to a competitor.

Edit: That's too funny, the forums have banned you from using a competitors' name int he post.  

What's the matter? Afraid you'll lose business? Don't worry, you can do that on your own!

I finally was able to enjoy Northrend. So, my anger has subsided-- but I let all of my co-workers know (and we're all pretty big gamers) not to EVER pre-order from Best Buy again. If they want it, just shell out the time and energy to pick it up. Next time, I'm going down the street to a competitor's place (because their reps are usually a lot nicer) and buying it from there. I had to stop off there one night, and told them my issues with Best Buy. The guy I talked to told me he was happy Best Buy was having these issues. It was helping him get better business. I laughed.

Ridiculous. I ordered mine and still haven't received it. My friend got his by standing in line.  This is not my idea of fair or good customer service.

Yeah i really feel for you man i preordered on sept 22nd and First of all didnt get a shipping Information until a day after the release and then the tracking was non Functional

So yeah the next day 14th 11/14/2008 04:44 AM Received from Shipper HEBRON, KY 

 Alrighty so im thinking Hmm tomarrow right Hebron being 211 Miles from where i live Rittman ,Oh near akron

So today the 15th Has it been received at a post office in ohio ?? akron or columbus or even cleveland??

Further more i will no longer buy anything from best buy even if i have to pay blatanly more for the item ( no that your prices are competitive by any mean)

Yea I ordered wotlk back in September too. I figured it would be great, shipped directly to me on 13th/14th...... Its now the 17th and it hasnt come. This will be the last time I order from Best Buy online. I also got an email saying it was delayed and would arrive "within window of delivery"! LOL Im obsessed with this game and was so excited to play it. Hopefully it will come soon but sheesh, if I pay for fast shipping I want it here on time! ~

I just read this entire thread and was appalled at the wait time you experienced, as well as the consensus that Best Buy® did not care, because no one had replied on the boards.  I take full responsibility on that one.  As you can see I am the WoW/gaming fanatic on the forums, therefore am responsible for this board.  Due to the release of WotLK, I took off 4 days plus the weekend, so I just returned today!  I even stood in line in thirty degree weather for about 4 hours to get my copy!  I totally immersed myself in the game and tried hard to get to eighty.  I did not even look at anything work related, and now seeing how I let many of you down, I do apologize.

I can understand how frustrated you ALL must be, and to be quite honest I am not 100% sure why our company does not ship ahead of time on video games with a hot release date.  One thing you can be sure of though, I am taking your responses and experiences and presenting them to the proper channels to have them addressed.  I hope that I can impact this going forward so no one ever has to have this type of experience again.
